Kiraly, Rose (10 JUN 1884 - 26 MAY 1957)
Mrs. Rose Kiraly passed away Sunday, May 26th, 1957 at the Stanley Hospital. She was born Rose Bernath in Hungary on the 10th of June 1884. She came to this country as a small girl with her parents and lived in the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). She married Frank Kiraly on April 22, 1902 at St. Mary’s Church in Stanley, and lived in that area all her life.
She is survived by her husband and five sons, Frank Jr., Louis, Carl, Arnold and Dean, all of Stanley; five sisters, Mrs. Martin (Ann) Baldeschwiler of Jim Falls; Mrs. Stanley (Rose) Markowski of Minneapolis; Mrs. Ronald (Marion) Nerdrum of Stanley; Mrs. John (Irene) Amonahin of Cumberland, Maryland. One brother, William Bernath of Stanley and one sister, Mrs. Mary Rockey of Avela, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and three grandchildren. Mrs. Kiraly is also survived by 30 living grandchildren.
She is a member of St. Mary’s Church in Stanley and a member of the St. Mary’s Guild.
The body will lie in state at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley from Wednesday noon until the time of the services at St. Mary’s Church, Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., with the Rev. Ralph Geissler officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
