Burss, Harrison V. (1888 - 20 MAY 1957)
Harrison V. Burss was born in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1888, attended the public school here and also high school at Thorp. He went to Chicago, where he lived until thirteen years ago, when he moved to Wadsworth, Ohio, where he ran a store until seven years ago when he moved to Riverdale, Calif., where he also kept a store until the time of his death on May 20, 1957.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and nine children, William, Rosie, Florence, Marie and Edith, all of Chicago, Dorothy and Doris of Wadsworth, Ohio and Bob and Judy of Riverdale, Calif., two brothers, Riley of Hannibal and Delbert of Thorp; two sisters, Mrs. R. J. Porter of Eau Claire and Carrie Burss of Hannibal. Burial was at Chicago on Monday, the 27th, in the Evergreen Cemetery.
