Twenty-Six Road. Nov. 1
Ada Hermann came home from Columbus Saturday.
Eli Fritz of Columbus spent Christmas at the Hermann home.
Mr. Cross and son of Veefkind were here one day last week in search of a farm to rent.
John Blecha and daughter Mary returned from Athens Tuesday where they had been to attend the funeral of his nephew.
Mrs. L. Mabie is making Mrs. Chas. Broker a visit this week.
A baby daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. H. Sischo a few days ago.
Bruce Armitage and Edna Kaudy visited Ed. Meast’s last Sunday and spent the evening at Tom Armitage’s.
Albert Reinking, Mr. Henning of Wausau and Clarence Klopf of Neillsville took New Year’s supper with W. K. Armitage’s people. Albert formerly lived at Neillsville.
W. J. Armitage is slowly improving; he cannot lift his right arm yet but can move his hand. He walks with some one hold of him for a support. He keeps up his courage and is very patient. He is still staying at his father’s.
John Richardson has been receiving a visit from his mother and two sisters, one brother and one brother-in-law, all from Minnesota, excepting one sister and husband were from Dakota. He also is receiving a visit from his daughter, Mrs. Mark Andrews, from Swiss. The parties were all here to attend the wedding of his daughter, Nell.
