No doubt the usual grist of resolves have been made for the New year. We wonder if the young folks of this community have made resolutions to stay home the New Year. Our suggestion of having a party once in a while seems to stir them but little. Is it the vainness of some, that they do not consider other people their equal? Note it while we will - the smile-less life - the life which has no brightness or sunshine, or gladness is sour and morbid. It is the cheerful, joyous and happy life that is helpful. This is the sort of life the world wants. It has too many vinegary countenances. It wants more sunshine and joy. Is it because one person is a half dollar richer that they look on others so far beneath them>? A person is young but once, why not enjoy your youth? Why not have a party or social gathering once in a while? Let us hear from some.
