Burzinski, Joan Julia (Marriage - 21 May 1960)
Joan Julia Burzinski, daughter of Stanley L. Burzinski of Thorp, and Harold Ernest Doege, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Doege, also of Thorp, were united in marriage May 21 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Thorp, with the Rev. Robert Olson in charge. About 400 attended.
Maid of honor was Carolyn Doege; bridesmaids were Shari Burzinski and Carol Doege; best man was Leroy Burzinski; groomsmen were Eugene Hudowanic and George Pagel; and ushers were Embert Rutz and Art Doege.
The music was furnished by Jan Boardman and Sarah Schauer, who sang, "The Wedding Prayer" and "The Lord’s Prayer."
A reception was held at the American Legion Hall.
The couple will make their home in Franklin Park, Ill., where both are employed.
