Neillsville, Wisconsin Locals (2 June 1960)

 

Mrs. Harold Walker, Mrs. Donald Asplin, Mrs. Ellis Winkel, Mrs. Melvin Jung, Mrs. Florence Asplin and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shaw called at the Walter Zank home Monday afternoon.

 

Garald Hart was home for the weekend.  He left for Deer Park Tuesday Morning.

 

Wendell Suckow and Miss Jean Asplin called at the Walter Zank home Sunday evening.

 

Thursday (today), a birthday party for Barby Turner was to be held, with about 60 guests expected.  This will be her first birthday.

 

Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Brekke were in Stevens Point last weekend.  They attended the graduation of Peter Rinka at Pacelli High School.

 

Wayne Zank is spending a few days at the Albert Zank home.

 

Emma Zank spent Monday with her sister, Mrs. Bill Stockwell.

 

Mrs. F. G. Hart of Mondovi spent the weekend at the C. E. Bollom home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fradette and boys of Eau Claire were weekend guests at the C. E. Bollom home.

 

Mrs. Otto Catlin has been in bed for several days with arthritis.

 

Mrs. Martin Zilisch is able to be up. She fractured a leg about six months ago, and has been confined to her bed until recently.

 

Mrs. Alma Grottke of Milwaukee spent the weekend at Lake Arbutus. She called at the S. G. Patey home Saturday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Myron Payne and son, Michael, and daughter, Marsha, spent the weekend at the Werner Jenni home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jelinski and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quant of Milwaukee spent Sunday at the Werner Jenni home, and with Joe Krause at Neillsville Nursing Home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bandelow of Menomonie spent Sunday night at the Everett Shaw home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Shaw, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Mills and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bandelow had dinner Monday at the home of William Uhlman. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Eddy and family visited there also.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heinzen and family of Neillsville, Rt. 1, have moved to Marshfield.
