Greenwood High School Commencement (Awards - 1960)
Nine seniors were honored at the Greenwood High School commencement last week for scholastic achievement. They included Joyce Albert, Valedictorian, Angeline Tolaney, Salutatorian, Florence LeDue, Victor Staut, Patricia Horn, Luanne Syth, Carol Turnquist, Ronald Hribar and Gary Oswald.
Bernard Lesar, Joyce Albert and Gary Oswald received the American Legion outstanding student award. The Babe Ruth sportsmanship awards went to Carol Turnquist and Gary Oswald, the Bausch and Lomb honorary science award to John Pernic, the special agriculture award to James Slemec, the homemaking award to Donna Krultz, the Cynthia Einfeldt mathematics award to Angeline Tolaney, the Arion Music Award to Victor Staut.
