Loyal, Wisconsin Briefs (9 June 1960)

Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Oelrich of Spencer, attended the golden wedding anniversary celebration of an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ziehlsdorf of Foster on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherrin Mack visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Voight and Mr. and Mrs. Don Rudell in Wausau Sunday.

Sunday afternoon callers at the home of Mrs. Anna Elsinger were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Weber, Marshfield.

Miss Carol Jensen, Ames, Ia., left this week Thursday after visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Frank Coryell.

Mr. and Mrs. Casper Shober, who sold their farm near Greenwood during the winter, are constructing a new home in the south section of Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Shober, who constructed a new home just east of Loyal High School late last fall are adding a concrete floor in their double garage, a new concrete driveway and giving the new dwelling the necessary coats of paint.  It is a very attractive home.

Mrs. Carl Myre was a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield last weekend where she underwent a health check-up.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kannenberg spent last weekend on a fishing trip on the Flambeau River in northern Wisconsin.  Mr. Kannenberg is a Loyal rural mail carrier.

Kenneth Olson of Neillsville visited with friends in Loyal Monday.
