F. D. Rowe was a Granton visitor Saturday.
S. A. Adams has been hauling logs to Granton.
Sheriff Dwyer was on our streets last Wednesday.
Dan Timerson is delivering wood to county farm.
Lewis Breese is sight seeing at Fond du Lac.
Elsie Benedict has been very sick with a hard cold.
W. C. Fulwiler of Freemont called at the Center Thursday.
Jerry Davis is getting out some timbers for a barn next summer.
Archie Garvin and Pete Moser are cutting wood for the latter’s father.
This town was well represented at the Granton Dance last Friday night.
Gus Olson, who was in camp up near Perkinstown came home last Monday.
Dale Fulwiler has been sick the past few days with a severe attack of the grip.
J. E. Rowe. J. E. Davis and U. E. Rowe are cutting wood near Heathville.
W. E. Benedict, the merchant at York Center, put up a supply of ice the past week.
Jessie Davis is sick with an attack of appendicitis. We hope no operation will be necessary.
Dave Davis returned home from R?? Lake last Wednesday where he went to seek employment.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lou Stevens near Spokeville last Friday.
Frank Rogers and wife moved into C. H. Ide’s log house last week. Frank will work for Mr. Ide.
A moving picture show with graphaphone was given Saturday night in the school house in district No. 3.
Last Wednesday the straw stack tipped onto 3 of Mrs. S. A. Lindsey’s heifers and before they could be rescued one of them had succumbed from pressure.
Last Thursday Mr. Dennis had the misfortune to fall and sustain some severe injuries. Dr. Schwarze was called and soon had the old gentleman feeling quite comfortable.
