Weston Township (16 June 1960)
Mrs. Charles Asplin arrived last week from Myrtle Creek, Ore., where she visited with a brother. She is now at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer.
JoAnn Grap is spending a three-week vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr. When she returns to Milwaukee hospital she will have 10 weeks left before graduating as a nurse.
Walter and Paul Grap of Milwaukee visited relatives in the Neillsville and Globe areas last weekend. They returned to Milwaukee Sunday taking their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap, with them for a week’s visit.
The Globe Homemakers club was scheduled to meet Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Harold Thoma. A special party was planned for the children of the homemakers.
