Janesville Settlement (23 June 1960)
A son, Roy Allen, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielsen last Monday in Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Aage Nielsen and family and Mrs. John Nielsen attended the wedding of his niece, Miss Patsy Nielsen, at West Allis Saturday.
Stanley Volovsek is building the new 28 x 60 foot kitchen and dinning room at the Barr Minkery.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schultz and children spent last week with relatives in Belvidere, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Baughman of Sheldon and his father, Howard Baughman of Tennessee, spent last Sunday with the Ernest Baughman’s. Howard Baughman remained for an extended summer visit.
Robert Liebzeit of Madison spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Liebzeit.
Jackie Barr is home for the summer vacation. He came up from Delavan last week.
Mrs. Martha Meinholdt spent the weekend in Greenwood with the Frank Perushek’s and attended the Stewart-Rhode wedding at the Grace Methodist Church Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze and daughter, Elinore, and Mrs. George Schwarze of Greenwood and their son, Donald, of Beaver Dam visited at the Henry Nielsen’s and saw the new baby Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barr and daughters of Cameron and Mrs. Fred Barr of Greenwood were Sunday dinner guests of the Fred J. Barrs.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sloniker and daughters spent Saturday evening with the Henry Nielsens.
Mrs. John Baughman and son, Roger, spent Friday with Mrs. Clark Hatton.
Excavation for more new mink sheds is proceeding at the Barr Minkery.
Mr. and Mrs. Aage Nielsen and Sharon spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielsen.
Miss Alice Baughman of Neillsville spent the weekend with her parents, the Ernest Baughman’s.
Mrs. Fred Barr of Greenwood spent Friday with Mrs. Charles Bostwick.
