Perrine, William A. (Military - 1960)
William A. Perrine, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. William a. Perrine, of Neillsville, has enlisted in the United States Air Force through the recruiting office at Eau Claire.
Following basic training at Lackland A. F. Base, San Antonio, Texas, he will enter training as an air force mechanic.
In announcing the enlistment, Sgt. Jim Rhody stated that an exceptionally large amount of job openings will be available through the summer for men and women who wish to train for one of over 400 job specialties offered by the air force. There is no waiting period for enlistment, Sgt. Rhody said.
