Holt, Joyce Lois (Marriage - 2 July 1960)

 

Joyce Lois Holt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merton Holt of Granton, and Thomas Garald Hart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart of Neillsville, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday, July 2, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Joseph Eisenmann performed the double ring ceremony.

 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of hand clipped Chantilly lace, with sequin trim and embroidered Sabrina neckline. Alternate lace and tulle panels billowed over ruffles of tulle on the skirt. Her veil was trimmed with pearls and rhinestones. She carried a shower bouquet of pink sweetheart roses and stephanotis.

 

The matron of honor was Mrs. Kenneth Burr.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Holt of Durand, Mrs. Harry Bedell and Miss Carol Holt.

 

Bestman was Kenneth Burr; groomsmen were Robert Holt, Harry Bedell and Ellis Langjahr.  Gerald and Donald Hold were ushers. Ringbearer was Steven Bedell, and glower girl was Ann Heiman.

 

A reception immediately following the mass was held at the home of the groom.

 

The couple will honeymoon at Wisconsin Dells, and after returning they will make their home in Marshfield.

 

Out of town guests were from Chicago, Ill., Cameron, Minnesota, Milwaukee, West Allis, La Crosse, Eau Claire, Humbird, Durand, Sheboygan, Marshfield, Greenwood and Granton.
