Marvin, Delores Irene (Marriage - 16 July 1960)

Miss Delores Irene Marvin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Marvin of Merrillan, was married Saturday at 2 p.m. to Richard Edward Jingle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jingle, Sr., of Hatfield.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Richard Shriver in the Methodist Church.

The bride wore a dress of white net and lace over satin.  Her corsage was white roses. 

The attendants’ costumes were yellow and orchid chiffon, with yellow and orchid ‘mums.

The men wore white coats and black trousers.

The matron of honor was Judy Eddy; bridesmaid was Rose Marie Jingle, bestman, Robert Meuller; groomsman, Eugene Schmiel; and the ushers were Kenneth Frost and LeRoy Johnson; Darlene Anger was organist, and Richard Rousey sang.

A reception was held in the church basement following the ceremony.  About 100 guests were served.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, and are now at home at 713 A. East Doege St. Marshfield.
