Humbird, Wisconsin (21 July 1960)

 

Rev. Carl Serr drove to Moon Beach Camp, near Eagle River, Sunday, where he will direct a junior camp.  Dawn Giloy is attending and Miss Betty Scholze is a counselor.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett, with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tande of Alma Center, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vesterman in their cottage near Lancaster last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Crandall of Mondovi and Mrs. Allen Stanley of Granton were among those from out of town who attended the Lubinski service Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Beard and a party of ladies called Monday at the Virgil Lueth home.

 

Mrs. Paul Zerbel received word Monday that Mrs. Regina Creviston had undergone surgery in Luther Hospital, Eau Claire; but was now feeling better.  Hopes were expressed that she would recover fully.

 

Mrs. Albert Squires was in Neillsville Thursday with Mrs. Dick Matti.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler drove to Unity last Sunday to attend at carnival and horse pulling contest.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheibe spent from Friday until Monday with her sister, Mrs. Howard Lawrence, in Altoona.  Mr. Lawrence is again a hospital patient at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

 

Mr. and Mrs. David Watson are now settled in the Albion Person house.  Mr. and Mrs. Watson were recently married and a welcome is extended to them from the Tindahl community.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Baily and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Noyes visited relatives and friends in Eau Claire Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Kleckner and family of Stevens Point were overnight guests Saturday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zerbel.
