Herman Carl Family (Reunion - July 1960)

 

A reunion of the family of the late Herman Carl, pioneer farmer of the Town of Pine Valley, was held Sunday at the Mark Russell Memorial Park in Hatfield, honoring Mr. and Mrs. William Carl of Medical Lake, Wash., who have been enjoying three weeks’ vacation here.

 

Prior to coming to Neillsville where they were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Carl and family, they visited relatives of Mrs. Carl in Stanley and attended a 30th year reunion of her graduation class.

 

Friday evening several relatives and friends gathered at the Herman Carl Farm home to celebrate the 21st wedding anniversary of the William Carl’s.

 

Present at the picnic dinner Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Carl, Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carl and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carl and family of Port Edwards; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Borde and Barbara and Mrs. Clifford Swann and daughter of Edgerton; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Carl and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ray and Sherri, Alfred Carl and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Carl and family, all of Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Voss and son of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. harry Carl and Bruce, Dennis, and Alan of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Carl, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mitte and three daughters, Mrs. Tony Perushek and two children of Neillsville; Mrs. Robert Berg and two daughters of California who are visiting her parents, Miss Flossie Carl and friend so Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. William Carl and Billy of Medical Lake, Wash., who left Monday on their return trip home.
