Betty Jane Meissner, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Meissner of Chili, and Ronald Alan Gluch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Gluch of Granton, were married Saturday in Immanuel Evangelical United Brethren Church at Chili, with the Rev. L. L. McCormick in charge of the double ring ceremony.
Escorted by her brother, Douglas Meissner of Milwaukee, the bride approached the altar in a gown of white nylon sheer, with a brush train trimmed with appliqués of lace and sequins. She carried a bouquet of red roses, swansonia, white gladioli blossoms and ribbons in a crescent shape.
Attending were Mrs. Roland Helm as matron of honor; Miss Margie Gluch, Miss Nola Rhodes of Marshfield and Miss Arlene Schaefer of Spencer as bridesmaids.
Bestman was Roger Lee of Chili. Ushers were Roland Helm of Illinois, William Zahradka of Granton and Larry Meissner of Chili. Ring bearer was Jerrold Meissner of Chili and the flower girl was Dawn Ziegler of Wisconsin Rapids.
Organ music was played by Maldon Plank of Marshfield. Soloist was Mrs. Walter Helm of Chili. She sang, "The Lord’s Prayer" and "The Wedding Song."
After August 8 the couple will make their home in Nebraska.
