Dunn, Clarence (24 May 1886 - 6 August 1960)
Clarence Dunn, 74, of Rt. 2, Neillsville, died early August 6, in Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Monday.
He was born May 24, 1886, in the Town of Loyal, and received his education in Loyal. On September 26, 1908, he was married to Eudora Clouse, in Neillsville. They farmed near Loyal and Greenwood before coming to the Neillsville area, to make their home. In 1958, they observed their golden wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Harold of Eau Claire; and a daughter, Mrs. Joe Brennan of Chicago, Ill. Two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home, with the Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Charles E. Bollom, Glenn Clouse, Edward Dollase, M. L. Meyer, Donald Smith and Henry Wasserburger.
Out of town relatives and friends attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brennan of Chicago, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn, Miss Danielle Dunn, Miss Sharon Dunn and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ott all of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clouse, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Clouse, Mrs. Ben Kadolph, Mr. and Mrs. David Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre and Colene, all of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clouse, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bowman and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bowman, all of Hatfield; and Richard Clouse of Minneapolis, Minn.
