Maxwell, Myrtle (14 November 1870 - 3 August 1960)
Mrs. Myrtle Maxwell, 89, of Neillsville, died August 3, at 10:30 p.m.
She was born November 14, 1870, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Neff.
She came to Clark County with her parents as a small child and received her education in Clark County. In 1891, she married Frank Maxwell and they moved to St. Paul, Minn. Later they returned to Neillsville. She had been in failing health for several years.
Mrs. Maxwell is survived by two children, Miss Jennie Maxwell of Neillsville and Mrs. Edgar Kaiser of Boulder, Wyo.
Funeral services were held August 6, from the Georgas Funeral home, with the Rev. Virgil Holmes officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth Olson, Ed Francis, Jesse Wilding, J. H. Hoesly, Everett P. Skroch and Emil Wesenberg.
Mrs. Virgil Holmes and Herbert C. Feig sang two hymns, "Under His Wings," and "In The Garden."
People from out of town attending included Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Wild, Minneapolis, Minn.
