Budzinski, Joseph S. (2 MAR 1912 - 1 AUG 1957)

 

Joseph S. Budzinski, son of Frank and the late Mary Budzinski, passed away Aug. 1, 1957 at Hines Veterans Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born March 2, 1912 at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).  He left Wisconsin twenty-three years ago to make his home in Chicago where he met and married Ethel Carlsen and was blessed with four children, Mrs. Carol Zarlena of Chicago, Joyce, Joseph Jr. and James at home.

 

He served in World War II, was wounded twice and was awarded the Purple Heart and Oak Leaf Cluster.

 

He leaves to mourn, his wife, two daughters, two sons, his father Frank, three sisters, Mrs. Louise Egan, Mrs. Mary McGowan and Mrs. Helen Nodes, all of Chicago, two brothers, Frank of Wheaton, Ill., and John of Thorp.

 

He was laid to rest in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Elmhurst, Ill.
