Ganzalez, Martha (Marriage - 13 August 1960)

Martha Ganzalez, Waukegan, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Ganzalez of El Paso, Tex.; and Jon D. Carl son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carl of Neillsville, repeated wedding vows August 13 at a nuptial mass in the Holy Name Catholic Church, in Racine. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Kusing.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.  For her wedding she chose a ballerina length gown of white satin with panels of ruffled nylon tulle. The fitted bodice of embroidered lace was fashioned with long, tapered sleeves and a princess collar.  A princess-style crown held her fingertip veil of nylon net edged in lace.  She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and yellow rosebuds, centered with a white orchid.

Attending as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Esther Ganzalez of El Paso, Tex.   She wore a ballerina-length dress of blue satin with a fitted bodice, highlighted by streamers of ribbons from the low back.  She carried a pink bouquet.

Berlie Campbell of La Farge was bestman.

Following the 11 a.m. ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at a dinner club near Kenosha.  A reception was held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Eagle Hotel restaurant in Racine.

The bride is a graduate of the El Paso High School and has been employed as a sales clerk in Waukegan, where she has been making her home with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Van Parys. The groom is a graduate of Neillsville High School, and is employed in Kenosha.

Those from here who attended the wedding in Racine were Arthur Cram of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Dunn of Greenwood, and Karen DeMert of (missing words).
