Rev. John Palaszewski has announced that ill health has forced him to resign his pastorate at Lublin after serving St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church for 21 years.
Replacing him is Rev. Stanley Tyburski of Kewaunee, Ill., an American born clergyman who accompanied his parents back to Poland. While there he received his formal education and completed his theological studies, returning to this country after becoming a Polish National Catholic clergyman.
Rev. Paliszewski, who plans to spend some time in the South or Southwest, also received his theological education in Poland. He arrived in the United States in 1925, serving in parishes in Pennsylvania, Canada and Minnesota before coming to Wisconsin. He served for three years at a parish in South Milwaukee, coming to Lublin from there in 1936.
