Harycki, Susan (Marriage - 13 August 1960)
Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday, August 13, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at Thorp, by Miss Susan Harycki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harycki of Thorp, and Robert Tennessen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Tennessen, of Ladysmith. The Rev. Herbert Hoffmann was in charge of the double ring ceremony.
The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father. She wore a floor length gown of silk organza over taffeta, styled with a sweetheart neckline embossed with satin roses. The skirt of bouffance was accented with a bow complimenting a gracious chapel train. The veil of silk illusion was attached to a satin bow headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white phalaenopsis orchids.
Mrs. Richard Young attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Rosanne Conway, Miss Mary Jane Cummins and Mrs. William Huber. Susan Jane Young was the flowergirl.
Attending the groom as bestman was Charles Tennessen. Bill Peterson, Don Hilgendorf and Dan Wielgus, were ushers.
The music accompaniment to the mass was sung by Miss Juliana Tennessen and Mrs. Norbert Gansen.
A reception was held at the home of the bride in the afternoon. The couple will make their home in Muskego, where the groom teaches.
