Lynn Township Locals (25 August 1960)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke visited their sons-in-law and daughters in Illinois for the last four weeks. They also visited their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Carey, in Batavia, Ill. Their daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Wilson, brought them home Monday and remained for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Schwantes of Neillsville accompanied Mr. and Mrs. William Schwantes on a boat trip from Fremont to Oshkosh recently.
Mrs. Gertrude Wilson of Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Grottke visited Mr. and Mrs. William Miller in Ladysmith Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jens and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Sternitzky and son of Plymouth visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky Sunday. They also visited Joseph Sternitzky, who is a patient in a Marshfield hospital. Other Sunday dinner guests at the Sternitzky home were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Johnson, Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky.
Sunday dinner and supper guests at the Albert Hasz home were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Arndt of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Nickel of Fremont, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hasz and family and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwanebeck of Sherwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kaddatz and family of Wisconsin Rapids were Saturday guests at the Raymond Sternitzky home.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Brooks and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Krause are visiting the former’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gueldenzof, in Racine.
Mrs. Allen Troemner of Madison, Miss Elaine Short of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ed Short of Neillsville, visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short Saturday and Sunday.
