Victor Konieczny, age 88, formerly of Thorp, passed away at his residence in Chicago. He was the beloved husband of the late Clara, nee Burzynski; loving dad of Dennis (Jo Ann), Kathy (the late Mel) McGuiggan, Janice (Pat) Wagner, Kenny, Donny (Arlene) and the late Elaine; cherished grandpa of Dennis, Mel, Vickie, Traci, Joe, Jaimie, Kevin, and Abby; proud great-grandpa of Connor and Leily; brother of Malin (the late Lillian), Sylvester (Alice), and the late Roy (the late Jean), the late Leona (the late Ted) Wojtas; uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear friend of Gene Rodgers. He will be missed by many neighbors. Victor was a proud WWII Army Veteran.
