Catterson, Barbara A. (1934 - 19 DEC 2010)
Barbara A. (Schanke) Catterson, 76, of Granton died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at her home, with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. A time of visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Thursday.
Barbara was born in Rock Springs, the daughter of Reuben and Lydia (Marks) Schanke. She attended Rock Spring Schools. On Oct. 1, 1955, the former Barbara Schanke was united in marriage to Victor S. Catterson.
Mrs. Catterson was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 2306 of Beloit. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, quilting and crafts. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
She is lovingly survived by her children, John Behrman of Granton, Vicki Eilers of Beloit, Robert (Dawn) Catterson of Roscoe, Ill., Thomas Catterson of Beloit, Cheryl (Everett) Thomas of Greenwood, Carol Hayter of Neillsville, Susan Catterson of Janesville and Joseph Catterson of Granton; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Barbara is further survived by many other family and friends. She will truly be missed.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; parents, Reuben and Lydia; brother, Wayne Schanke; as well as an infant son, Richard Catterson.
