Wang, Mary M. (Marriage - 10 September 1960)

St. Stephan’s Lutheran Church in Camp Doulas was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Miss Mary M. Wang, daughter of Col. and Mrs. Malvin P. Wang of Camp Douglas, and Dr. Roger E. Heineck of Neillsville son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Heineck of Black River Falls.

The Rev. Donald S. Olsen performed the double ring ceremony before a flower-banked altar.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a white silk taffeta floor length gown.  Of Princess styling, it was accented by Swiss lace panels down the back of the skirt, falling into a chapel train. The scooped neckline of the fitted bodice was edged with Swiss imported lace.  A Swiss lace crown held her fingertip veil of silk illusion, and her bridal bouquet consisted of white roses.

Attending Miss Wang as maid of honor was Miss Georgene Howalt of Stillwater, Minn., who wore a fern-green sheath of pure silk organza, with a short tiered overskirt.

Mr. Heineck’s bestman was Jack Duescher of Black River Falls. Donald Johnson of Neillsville and Allen Upton of New Brighton, Minn., were the ushers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Heineck will reside in Neillsville, where they have purchased a home on Hill Street.
