Keiner-Romang Family (Reunion - 1960)

 

Five of the six children of Mrs. Christ Keiner attended a reunion of the Keiner-Romang family at Keiner’s Resort, Rock Dam.

 

Mrs. Martha Corbin of Milwaukee, a daughter, could not be present because of the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Frank (Mardene) Sisinni.  Another granddaughter, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Kensmoe, is a hospital patient in Eau Claire.

 

The gathering honored Mrs. Keiner on her 84th birthday, September 7, and the birthdays of her two daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Edith) Gotz (September 4) and Louise (September 11).

 

Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keiner, Donald Kensmoe and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Black and daughter, Julie, O Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gudmanson and daughter, Kayla, of Spring Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Romang, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Romang, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Plisch of Athens; Mrs. Louise Garbisch of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Gotz of Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leberg and son of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Albrecht and daughter of Arpin; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Leberg and daughter, Kim, of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Al Obernberger and son, David and Eric Vostrol of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh (Freda) Severson and daughter, Carol, Mrs. Christ Keiner and daughter, Louise, and Karen Toburen of Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keiner of Willard.

 

The honorees were presented with gifts and when the picnic dinner was served a decorated birthday cake, baked by Mrs. Bud Albrecht, was served.
