York Township (15 September 1960)
An old-fashioned barn-raising bee brought 35 relatives, neighbors and other friends to the Alvin Miller farm last week Wednesday. A 30-foot addition was added to their dairy barn.
Glen Hagen of Milwaukee visited Mr. and Mrs. Leon Metcalf and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Miller last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence DeMert, and Mrs. Ronnie Meyer and son, Mark, of Neillsville were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Art Lau in Stratford Sunday.
David DeMert Monday resumed his studies at Eau Claire College.
