Levis Township (15 September 1960)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Holub went to Alma Center Tuesday night.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cernik visited Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kopp and Mrs. Emma O’Leary at Humbird Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Schultz were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schultz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kip Schultz of Hatfield were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Schultz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Minette called at the Donald Hagie home Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Embke attended a birthday party Sunday at the Floyd Gates home at Merrillan.

 

Mrs. Daryl Embke’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson of Iowa, are spending a few days with their daughter and her family here.

 

Mrs. Fred Woof of Black River Falls is spending a few days at the home of her niece, Mrs. Herman Embke.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gates of Kenosha visited Mr. and Mrs. Dale Opelt and family last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Opelt and baby visited in Eau Claire with a cousin Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Benny Urlaub and family visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Opelt and were dinner guests there.


Mrs. Carl Opelt drove to Waupaca Thursday to visit her mother, Mrs. Jennie Mack.  She returned Friday evening.

 

Louie Lautenbach spent Saturday and Sunday in Milwaukee with his son, LeRoy and his family.

 

Mrs. Fred McCarty and Mary Ann and Darlene and Mrs. Ed Holub drove to Wisconsin Dells Friday to spend the weekend with Ed and Fred.  Fred drove up from Watertown to be with his family.  Saturday they had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. George Holub at Lyndon Station.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Subke and family visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Walmuth of Hatfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schutte and family were dinner guests Sunday of his sister, Mrs. Elmer Christman, at Owen, and they were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier of Owen.
