Withee, Wisconsin (15 September 1960)
Labor Day proved to be a sad one for the Christian Rasmussen family of southeast of Withee, when Joe, four-year-old son of the Rasmussen’s, while riding on a chopper wagon, fell off and was run over by his father before he was aware of the accident. The child was rushed at once to the Marshfield hospital, where it was discovered he had a skull fracture and broken fontal and jaw bones. At last report little Joe seems to be improving.
At the monthly meeting of the Nazareth Lutheran Men’s club at the Assembly Hall Tuesday night 20 members answered roll call. Other officers remained the same. Following the business meeting a picture on "Outboard Motoring" was shown, and later Frank Keneszic and Eric Felen served a lunch.
