Sternitzky, Alvin Carl (22 October 1891 - 15 September 1960)
Funeral services were held last Saturday for Alvin Carl Sternitzky, 68, of Spencer, who died September 15, in Marshfield. The Rev. Lawrence Schreiber officiated at services from the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Sternitzky was born October 22, 1891, in the Town of Lynn. December 21, 1915, he was married to the former Edna Burdick. They farmed in the Town of Lynn until 1948, when they moved to the present farm on Rt. 2, Spencer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Dorothy) Guillaume, Spencer; and two sons, Delmar of Spencer and Wallace of Wisconsin Rapids. Other survivors include four brothers, Oscar, Carl, Louis and Rudolph, all of Granton; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home.
