Manthe, Lorraine (Marriage - 24 September 1960)
The Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Lorraine Manthe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Manthe of Abbotsford, and Robert Zasaba, son of Mrs. Marcia Zasaba of Green Bay. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler performed the double ring ceremony.
For her wedding the bride wore an olive green suit, complimented with brown accessories. A white orchid corsage was pinned to her shoulderline.
Mrs. Elmer Leffel of Edgar was her sister’s attendant, and Mr. Leffel attended the groom. Ushers were Herman Hoffman, Jr., Owen, and Gerald Zasaba of Green Bay.
"The Lord’s Prayer," was sung by Herbert Juneau, and "O Perfect Love" was sung by Mr. Juneau and Dorothy Kieser.
Two hundred guests attended the reception at the Abbotsford village hall.
The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School and is employed in an Abbotsford drug store. The groom attended DePere High School and is a lineman on the Milwaukee Railroad. On their return from a wedding trip to Milwaukee they will reside in Abbotsford.
