Pleasant Ridge (20 October 1960)
Sunday visitors at the Genevieve Hantke home were Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Anderson and three daughters of Eau Claire.
Alfred Magnuson, Bill Vine, Arthur Hubing and Ronald Gluch were part of a group who spent several days the forepart of last week at Yellow Lake getting in some late season fishing.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bills, Madison, have returned home after spending a few days with their daughter, Mrs. Vernon Drescher, and her family.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wren of Sidney visited Monday with Mrs. Ted Selves.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blackman were Sunday supper guests at the Clarion Counsell home.
Mrs. Henry Dahnert, Mrs. Clifford Blackman and Mrs. Harry Anderson visited Tuesday at the Lyle Prindle home near Humbird.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Huckstead left Monday to spend several days with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Murphy, in Princeton, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Rucker and Mark are spending several days with relatives in Iowa.
The Pleasant Ridge Homemakers club will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. Glenn Short. The topic, "Voting is for People", will be in charge of Mrs. Theomore Vine and Mrs. Genevieve Hantke.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher visited Sunday evening at the "Doc" Anderegg home, near Loyal.
Bud Comstock of Alma Center spent Tuesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foote and family.
Sunday visitors at the Arnold Drescher home were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Stanley, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gerzmehl, son and girlfriend, Luann Miller, Wisconsin Rapids.
