Kollmansberger, Maybelle  (08 MAY 1926-28 NOV 2010)

Maybelle J. Kollmansberger, 84, Unity, was born into eternal life on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Funeral services were held at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Rev. Rebekah Tarras officiated.

Maybelle Briesch was born on May 5, 1926, in Elgin Ill., to Otto and Martha (nee Unruh) Briesch. She attended Pine Creek County School in the town of Holway until eighty grade. She married Ervin Kollmansberger on Jan. 12, 1946, at Saint John’s Lutheran Church, Withee. She was devoted housewife and worked hard on the family farm while her husband drove truck. She enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting and bowling and was noted for her good cooking. She helped run a youth bowling league in Spencer for a number of years.

She is lovingly survived by her seven children, Sharon (James) Schiszik, Spencer, Ervin (Vicky) Kollmansberger Jr., Dorchester, Patty Behrens, Marshfield, Dennis Kollmansberger, Menomonie, Arlyn (Kathy Pieper) Kollmansberger, Spencer, Kimberly Tate, Marshfield, and Scott (Linda Weber) Kollmansberger, Marshfield; 11 grandchildren, Ryan (De Ann) Griepentrog, Tyler (Nicole) Kollmansberger, Eric (Tina) Kollmansberger, Jill Kollmansberger, Ian Kollmansberger, Hattie Kollmansberger, Joshua Tate, Lindsay Tate, BrittanySchalow, Megan Schalow and Melissa Schalow; eight great grandchildren; Dyllan Griepentrog, Danika Griepentrog, Jordan Schraufnagel, Haily Kollmansberger, Ethan Kollmansberger, maisyn Kollmansberger, Cierra Kollmansberger and Gabriel Kollmansberger; two step-grandsons, Mike (Heidi) Schiszik and Ryan (Gayle) Schiszik; four step-great-grandchildren, Ellie, Dru, Joseph, and Jason Schiszik; two brothers, Otto (Glenda) Briesch Jr., Edmond Okla., and Edgar (Donna) Briesch, San Leandro, Calif.; and a sister, Harriet Blume, Kennewick, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two grandchildren, Corey Griepentrog and Jodie Behrens; two sisters, Doris Julson and Nadene Beauchamp, and a brother, Walter Briesch.
