Wucherpfennig, Lois Martha (Marriage - 22 October 1960)

Nuptial vows were  repeated Saturday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal by Miss Lois Martha Wucherpfennig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Wucherpfennig of Loyal, and Henry Edward Aumann, Jr., so of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann, Sr., also of Loyal.  The Rev. Fr. Norbert King performed the double ring ceremony before an altar adorned with baskets of fall flowers.

For her wedding the bride chose a gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over satin, embroidered with sequins and pearls.  A long lace tunic fell from the waistline of the full bouffant skirt, forming a train.  The fitted lace bodice was styled with a scalloped Sabrina neckline and long lace sleeves that came to a point at the wrists.  Her fingertip veil cascaded from a crown headpiece of pearls and sequins.  She carried a fan-shaped bridal bouquet consisting of a white orchid surrounded by red roses with greens.

Mrs. Irban Aumann of Milwaukee was her matron-of-honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. James Bauer, Marshfield, and Miss Jean Noeldner, Loyal.

The groom was attended by Irban Aumann as bestman. Groomsmen were James Bauer and Kenneth Voss.  Marvin Wucherpfennig and Clarence Aumann were the ushers.

Nuptial music was furnished by the church choir.

A wedding dinner, reception and a supper were held in a hall in Marshfield.

Both the bride and groom attended Loyal high School.  She has been employed as secretary for a Greenwood attorney, and the groom is a carpenter.

On their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan they will reside in Loyal.
