Hemp, Anna (90th Birthday - 20 October 1960)
Mrs. Albert (Anna) Hemp celebrated her 90th birthday last Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hemp and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vornholt and family attending a birthday dinner. Afternoon guests included Mrs. Dan Gluch, Mrs. Paul Steffens, Mrs. Fred Stelloh, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hemp and daughter, Lorraine. Her son, Richard and his son, Dick of Mosinee, visited her Sunday. Dick is a student at Decorah, Ia.
Mrs. Hemp was born in Schlesien, Germany, near the Polish border, October 20, 1870. She came to America in 1888 and located in the town of Grant. In 1925 she and her husband moved to Neillsville and she has lived here for the last 35 years.
