American Legion Auxiliary (Greenwood - 1960)

Twenty four members attended the meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary at the Legion Hall.  Mrs. Richard Larson was welcomed as a new member.  The group decided to have a food sale on Friday at the I. G. A. Store, beginning at 2 p.m.  The committee on arrangements includes Mrs. O. J. Amundson, chairman, Mrs. May Clendenning and Mrs. Carl Stabnow; Mrs. Larson, poster chairman; and Louise Keiner, publicity.  The group will also prepare and served the annual Legion and Auxiliary dinner, November 12.  Mrs. Kenneth Rodgers and Mrs. Robert Carl gave reports on the Educational conference they attended recently at Independence.  Mrs. Myron Kenyon reported on the Clark County Easter Seal campaign.  It was decided the unit would again sponsor a house –to-house drive in Greenwood.

Mrs. Peter Scherr will make the tray favors for the months of November and December.

After the business session games were played and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Calvin Franz, (missing names).
