Felix, Verdelle G. (13 JUL 1921 - 23 DEC 2010)

LOYAL -- Verdelle G. Felix, 89, of Loyal died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at her son's home in Greenwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Verdelle Genevieve Turnquist was born July 13, 1921, in Greenwood to Adolph and Julia (Hendrickson) Turnquist.

She married John "Jack" Felix on Dec. 19, 1945, in Chicago. Verdelle worked at the clinic until retiring in 1987.

Verdelle is survived by three sons, Douglas (Priscilla) Felix of Greenwood, Bruce (Deb) Felix of Marshfield and James (Mary Lou) Felix of Greenwood; and one granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, on July 29, 1990.
