Rabehl, Opal A. (16 OCT 1919 - 25 DEC 2010)
Opal A. Rabehl, 91, of Abbotsford passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital.
Funeral services for Opal will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Mark Neumann officiating. Burial will be in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.
Visitation with family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home, Abbotsford, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.
Opal was born Oct. 16, 1919, to Arthur and Sophia (Wahl) Campbell in Rice Lake. She was joined in marriage to Adolph Rabehl Oct. 26, 1938. They farmed near Rice Lake for 28 years before buying a farm near Unity in 1967, where they lived until retiring in 1978. They then moved to Abbotsford in 1993. Opal and Adolph enjoyed traveling throughout the country. Opal was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Colby, the Ladies Aid and Abbotsford Senior Citizens.
She is lovingly survived by her son Donald Rabehl of Unity and her two daughters Doris (Larry) Paulson of Cumberland and Elinor (Erling) Rohde of Rice Lake. Opal is further survived by her six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband Adolph in 2002, her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
