Neillsville (3 November 1960)

 

Mrs. Carl Schroeder is spending some time in Chicago, assisting in the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. Smet, who is a surgical patient in a Chicago hospital.

 

Mrs. Marie Keller has returned home, after several weeks’ visit with her children, Mrs. Harold Potter and family in Hammond, Ind., and in Milwaukee, Mrs. H. Pankou, Mrs. F. Kipp, Mrs. M. P. Benduhn and Henry Ott and their families.  While in Milwaukee she was a sound guest at the Henry Ott home.

 

Mrs. Paul Blum is expected home this week after a month’s visit at the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoebling, Chicago.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Lindow of the Town of Fremont visited friends in Neillsville Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Sydorowicz and son, Steve, of Cedarburg visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Trogner and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Sydorowicz, last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wocum of Milwaukee visited Mr. and Mrs. Nick Sydorowicz last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ralph of Platteville called Tuesday forenoon at the S. G. Patey home.  They were enroute home from Eau Claire, where they spent the weekend with their son, David Ralph, and his family.  David is recovering from injuries received two years ago in a car accident.  He is still unable to work.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Noel Olson, Rt. 2 presented their infant son, Robert Victor, for baptism Sunday afternoon in St. Mary’s Church in Neillsville.  Sponsors were Mrs. Harry Werner and Duane Lieski.  Following the ceremony the baby’s maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Garbisch, entertained Mr. and Mrs. Olson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Werner and children, and Mr. an Mrs. Duane Lieski and family.

 

Mrs. Jesse Mike drove Monday to Black River Falls to visit her mother, Mrs. Stella Stacey, a patient in the hospital.
