Eberts, Mary (? - 1 November 1960)

Mrs. Mary Eberts, 89, died of a coronary attack at the home of her son, Burt Eberts, in the Town of Hixon November 1.  She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Francis Shannon of Missouri.  She was married to William Eberts of Rock Island, Ill., 65 years ago.  He died in 1913.

Her children are: Burt, Town of Hixon; and Norma Heddleston, in the state of Washington. Besides them, she raised three step-children, one of whom preceded her in death; Orin and William of Rock Island, Ill., survive.

Funeral services were held from the Nazareth Lutheran Church Saturday, with the Rev. Beryl Knutsen officiating.  Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Alfred Knudsen, Ray Slock, Ray Purgett, Cecil Looker, Charles Stein and Morris Martin.
