Hanson Floyd C. (? - 14 November 1960)
Floyd C. Hanson, 63, died Monday night in the Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., following a lingering illness. Funeral services are tentatively set for next Monday in San Diego, with burial in the military cemetery.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hanson of Neillsville, he served with Neillsville men in Company A, 128th Infantry, 32nd Division, in World War I. Following the Armistice, he remained in Germany with the army of occupation until the latter part of 1919. Returning to Neillsville, he followed the barber trade, later moving west.
Survivors include: Mrs. Donald (Tillie) Armstrong of Richland Center, Henry Hanson of Grand Forks, N. D., and Mrs. John (Myrtle) Mattson of Neillsville. His sister, Erna, preceded him in death.
News of his death was received Tuesday by Mr. and Mrs. John Matson from their son, Donald, who is in Calif.
