Stacey, Stella (19 April 1883 - 9 November 1960)
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Indian Mission near Black River Falls for Mrs. Stella Stacey, 77, who died November 9, in Black River Falls. Mrs. Stacey, who was born April 19, 1883, was the mother of Mrs. Jessie Mike of Neillsville.
"I Walk With the Lord" was sung by Mrs. Arvina Thayer, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Carmille White Rabbit.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Shegonee, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Jessie Mike, Neillsville; Mrs. Dan Turner, Waterloo, Ia.; Mrs. Rebecca Buchanan, Cleveland, O.; Mitchell Stacey, of Colorado; and Mrs. Adam Funmaker, Tama, Ia. Thirty eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers were: Emerson Decorah, Wayne Funmaker, George White Wing, Joe Henry, Vanverd Dick, and Bill Hensley.
Those from away here for the services were: Mrs. Nancy Lurie, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Rayline Oestreich, Milwaukee; Andrew Funmaker, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Green Deer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lone Tree, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hensley, George Hensley, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cloud, Mr. and Mrs. Howard White Thunder and daughter, Mrs. Bill Decara and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Green Deer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lone Tree, all of Wisconsin Dells.
