Garbisch, Minnie (30 October 1888 - 11 November 1960)
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Garbisch, 72, Chili, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili. Mrs. Garbisch died Friday in Neillsville. She had been a hospital patient for some time. The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated. Burial was made in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Granton.
She was born October 30, 1888, in Germany. At the age of six she came to America with her parents, the late Herman and Ernestina (Frank) Grobe. The family located in the Town of Fremont, where Mrs. Garbisch spent most of her life. Her marriage to the late Herman Garbisch took place in 1905 in Chili. Following their marriage they engaged in farming.
Two sons survive; they are: Herbert of Eagle River, and Walter of Chicago, Ill. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. William (Lena) Bealer and Mrs. Bertha Meissner, both of Chili; and Mrs. Neil (Mary) Dow, Los Angeles, Cal. Five grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survive.
Pallbearers were: Otto Rusch, Howard Geldernick, Frank Perkney, Rex Neinas, Alvin Voelker and George Schecklman.
Don Bersell, Charles Lindow, Henry Nebel and Lyle Zimmerman sang, "My God and I" and "Someday He’ll Understand," accompanied by Mrs. August Grimm.

D.; Mrs. Ruby Schuett, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Carol Grobe, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Muir and Mrs. Wellie Davis, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Gluck, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. William Hughes and Fred Frank, Neillsville; and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Meissner, Richland Center.
