Puscheck, Mary Amanda (Marriage - 12 November 1960)
The Grace Lutheran Church in Marshfield was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Mary Amanda Puscheck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Puscheck of Chili, and Jerry Leonard Kronberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kronberger of Neillsville.
The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Philip Mueller in a 6:30 p.m. candlelight service, with Candelabra and vases of white pompoms and ‘mums on the altar.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, approached the altar attired in an aqua lace over beige taffeta sheath dress, complemented with beige accessories. She wore a corsage of white ‘mums and pink sweetheart roses.
Attending as maid of honor was Miss Lila Ahola of Poplar, a close fiend and classmate at Stout College. She wore a beige embroidered sheath dress with brown accessories, and a shoulder corsage of rust pompoms and yellow roses.
George Brenner of Loyal attended as bestman.
Nuptial music was played by Miss Karen Potocnik of Owen.
A white wedding cake and centerpieces of pink roses and white pompoms decorated the bride’s table at the reception held in a supper club in Marshfield.
The bride is a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and attended Wisconsin State College in Menomonie. She is a member of Sigma Sigma sorority.
The groom was graduated in 1956 from Loyal High School and is a licensed cheesemaker at the York Center Dairy.
A highlight of the reception was the receiving of a cablegram from the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Lt. and Mrs. Herbert C. Puscheck, who are stationed in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Kronberger were honored at three pre-nuptial showers. On their return from a wedding trip to the Twin Cities and other places in Minnesota, they will reside in Loyal.
