The Rev. and Mrs. Frank B. Harcey attended the installation of the Rev. Stephan Hieb in Mellen Sunday evening. The Rev. Mr. Harcey delivered the installation sermon. The Rev. and Mrs. Jack Grether, the Rev. George Grether, the Rev. and Mrs. Harcey, attended a district Evangelical and Reformed meeting in Merrill last week. The Rev. Virgil Holmes and Mr. Harcey attended a Central Wisconsin ministers meeting in Pittsville Tuesday.

Mrs. Minnie Murphy, who had been keeping house for Arthur Wilding, is planning to make her home with Mrs. J. H. Frank.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Drescher and family of Tomah visited Mr. and Mrs. Art Drescher last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kavanaugh of Greenwood visited friends in Minneapolis Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wepfer of Loyal visited friends in Neillsville last Thursday.  They spent the weekend in Menomonie with their daughter, Barbara, a sophomore at Stout State College.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thompson and children spent last weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Turville. They recently moved from Rockford, Ill., to Kenosha.

Alonzo Frank of Waukesha visited his mother, Mrs. J. H. Frank, several days last week.

Marian Calway, who teaches in Minneapolis, spent last weekend with her mother, Mrs. Marian Calway.  Mrs. Calway will soon leave to spend the winter with her daughter in Minneapolis.

Mrs. Grace Smith, who had been visiting her aunt, Mrs. Frank Garman, has returned to Sioux Falls, S. D.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Holmberg of Racine and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Flint of Richfield visited Mrs. Vera Shumway last week and spent a few days hunting.

Mrs. Glenn Lezotte, Jr., and children joined her husband here Sunday. They will live at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Haugen, until their home on Grand Avenue is ready for occupancy, Linda has entered the sixth grade, b=Bruce the fifth grade, and Denise the Kindergarten.

Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Dopp and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leaders and daughter, Bonnie Lee, were taken as members by transfer into the Methodist Church during the service Sunday.

Miss Carol Peterson, Eau Claire, and her sister, Miss Bernadine Peterson of Madison, spent the weekend with their parents.

Lee Keller of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Keller.

Richard Struensee, Kenosha, spent the weekend with his family at the Ray Oldham home.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dorski and daughter spent a few days last week in Bayfield with relatives. They attended funeral services for Robert Larson, an uncle of Mrs. Dorski. They also visited with her parents in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoehn and children spent the weekend in Eau Claire with relatives, and on Saturday attended a bridal shower for Mr. Hoehn’s brother’s fiancée.

Miss Delores Burr, student nurse at Marshfield, recently returned from six weeks of training at Muirdale sanitarium, Milwaukee and left Monday for Winnebago State Hospital for three month’s training.

Merle Reams, Kenosha, spent the weekend with his family.

Sunday visitors at the Nick Scherer home were Mrs. Lucille Fenske and Ernest Meihack of Eagle River.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ayers and daughter, New Lisbon, were Thursday and Friday visitors at the Claude Ayers and Forest Thompson homes.

Mr. and Mrs. John Carl, Racine, arrived Friday evening for a weekend visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carl.  They were accompanied by Stanley Kosmosky of Kenosha.

Dr. Rita Youmans of Madison spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. H. C. Youmans.  Friday guests at the C. R. Sturdevant home were two nieces of Mrs. Youmans and Mrs. Sturdevant, Mrs. Hartley Skeels and Mrs. Allison Flynn of Eau Claire.
