Plaman, Otto #2 (5 NOV 1889 - 21 JAN 1952)
Funeral services were held at Owen on Jan. 24th for Otto George Plaman, a resident of the Town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.) for 42 years. He had farmed a half mile south of K Corners until 1949 when he sold out.
Burial was made in the cemetery west of Withee.
Otto George Plaman was born Nov. 5, 1889 in Outagamie Co. and passed away on Jan. 21, 1952, at the age of 67 years. At the age of 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Army for 3 years during the Cuban rebellion. On Jan. 6, 1907 he was married to Norma Stammer of Appleton, Wis. They moved to a farm in the Town of Beaver, and in 1949 retired to live in Withee, Wis., where he passed away of a heart attack.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Norman, five children, Earl and Wallace of Milwaukee, Maynard of Chicago, Mrs. Paul (Virgean) Rossow, Withee, and Mrs. Ira (Isabell) Salzwedel of Rhinelander, Wis., 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Distant relatives and friends attending the funeral were, Mrs. L. Thiel and son William of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thiel of Wis. Rapids, Mr. Albert Stange of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Aumann, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Theime and Wm. Stammer of Jefferson, Wis., Mrs. Lydia Christie of Milwaukee, Mrs. H. Schwalbach and Mr. Sheldon Stammer of Appleton.
