Saule, Victoria (24 December 1880 - 28 November 1960)
Mrs. Victoria Saule, 79, of Willard died at her home November 28, after a long illness.
Mrs. Saule, the former Victoria Dobish, was born December 24, 1880 in Poland. She came to the United States and was married to Paul Saule in Chicago Heights. They came to Willard, where they settled on a farm four miles north of Willard, where she has resided since. Mr. Saule died July 4, 1951.
She is survived by two sons, Peter, at home; and Anton of Willard; also nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose in Chicago; and a brother, Joseph Dobish of Greenwood.
Funeral services were held December 1 at 9 a.m. from the Hill Funeral Home, and at 10 a.m. from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Rev. Aloysius Madic officiated. Burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Matt Malnar, John Horvat, Henry Trybula, Michael Klapatauskas, Frank Lamovec and Ludwig Jordan. The Holy Family choir sang, with Mrs. Henry Lamovec as organ accompanist.
People from away who attended were: Mrs. Tom Kornesczuk and Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski of Gilman; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dobish of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Volovsek, Mrs. Sigmund Ignarski and Miss Celia Dobish, all of Chicago.
