Mead, Bessie (25 Oct 1913)
Saturday evening at six o’clock Rev. Risser united in marriage Miss Bessie Mead and Loice Buell. The couple were attended by Price Snyder and Miss Hattie Mead. The ceremony was witnessed by relatives and friends of the couple and afterwards a bountiful dinner was served. The wedding march was played by Miss Lesa Langraf. The bride wore a gown of blue messaline and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The Mead home was tastefully decorated in ferns and violets. The groom is a resident of La Crosse and is a conductor on the street car line there. He is a fine young man and highly spoken of by all who know him. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mead and a most capable and pleasant young lady. She is a graduate of the public schools and in every way qualified for the position she assumes. Mr. and Mrs. Buell went to La Crosse Monday where they will take up housekeeping.
